Daily Volunteering - Social Distance Edition

Packages From Home relies heavily on volunteers. We couldn't do what we do without your help! Come by during our normal business hours to volunteer and help with important volunteer tasks such as: sorting, categorizing, and quality controlling donations, light cleaning, inventorying product, preparing care packages for service members or veterans, proofreading letters, breaking down cardboard, etc. 

Expectations:

Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate attire, to include closed-toe shoes. Masks are required. Please stay home if you are sick or have symptoms of illness. We reserve the right to take your temperature or ask you to leave if you are not following social distancing guidelines or not listening to the direction of staff or senior volunteers. Please maintain 6 feet of distance as available while volunteering. Only 10 volunteers in the warehouse at a time. 

Note: Volunteer tasks vary from day to day depending upon the need of the mission. While we sometimes pack care packages to send to deployed servicemembers on volunteer days, care package packing is never a guarantee when you volunteer. Please keep in mind there are other important tasks that need to be accomplished to help get those packages in the hands of our military heroes. 

Volunteering restricted to ages 12 and up. Minors will need proper supervision by a qualified adult while volunteering.

This waiver only needs to be filled out once in your lifetime. Please include any children volunteering with you in the space provided on your waiver. Thank you.
