It was great to see you the other night we all had a wonderful evening. At dinner you asked me why Christian would re-up for the Army, unfortunately I was not able to tell you the real answer, I will do that now.

First and foremost my son is a patriot, a believer in freedom, a country free from terrorists, a believer in a future for the next generation of Americans. He believes in freedom of religion, even if you don't have a religion, the right to have an opinion different from his own, he believes Americans should go to work and not have a plane flown into their building by terrorists. He believes people in the rest of the world, women included, should have the freedom this Country takes for granted.

NO ONE has forced him to do this. Most people thank God for those who serve this Country, It is necessary to the survival of democracy and Republic that men like Christian step up to volunteer for toughest job in the world. My son is my hero the one person I trust and believe in. He would gladly give his life for me and even though you don't realise it YOU.

He is college educated, well read, a leader, he is epitome of the leadership this Country desperately needs (on both sides of the aisle). He follows George Washington,Teddy Roosevelt, Ike, Colin Powell and millions of others who have served this Country, his grandfathers included.

He keeps his politics to himself but will always vote to protect his beloved Country. If you still have the question "why" you are just not paying attention.
